About Marsalis Burgin

Marsalis Burgin is the founder of Burgin Performance Solutions, a Personal Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Coach for multiple high school sports teams, and a Corrective Exercise Specialist based in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Marsalis has always had a passion for helping others meet their fitness goals. He takes pride in helping clients achieve their goals while ensuring their safety and incorporating movements they can use in their everyday lives. Marsalis excels at teaching correct and safe movements that improve stability, mobility, and strength in athletes and adults. He also enjoys mentoring college interns, sharing his knowledge, and preparing them for careers in the field.

Marsalis is the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for Cincinnati Walnut Hills High School. He believes that, in addition to preparing his student-athletes for competition both physically and mentally, this role is an opportunity to give back to the youth and prepare them for the challenges they will face in the real world.

Marsalis is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion with an emphasis on Exercise Physiology. He also completed a Personal Fitness Trainer certificate at Cincinnati State. Marsalis is a certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine and a Corrective Exercise Specialist certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He has over 10 years of experience working in local wellness facilities, corporate and private gyms, and physical therapy facilities.

Training Options

One on One Private Personal Training

Our dedicated and certified personal trainers will work with you to create a customized workout plan tailored to your unique goals, fitness level, and preferences. BPS number one goal is to get you the results you want without any injuries. This membership is for our first time clients who will need time to get familiarized with our system. You will have the option to progress on to semi private membership if desired.

Semi Private Personal Training

Experience the best of both worlds with our Semi-Private Personal Training sessions. Designed for small groups of 2-5 individuals, this program offers personalized attention and tailored workouts while fostering a supportive and motivating environment. Our certified personal trainers will create customized fitness plans that cater to each participant’s unique needs and fitness levels.

Elite Personal Training for Professional Athletes

Movement Academy

Youth Athlete Development Program
